Summary of General Instructions:

  • There is no change in syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Statistics
  • In Physics, Chemistry and Biology, there will be a written exam of 70 Marks and a practical exam of 30 Marks.
  • In Physics, Chemistry and Biology, in written exam, there will be one question paper and one answer paper.
  • In Mathematics and Statistics, there will be a written exam of 80 Marks and a practical exam of 20 Marks.
  • In Mathematics and Statistics, in written exam, there will be one question paper and one answer paper.
  • The final exam in all subject will be on the complete syllabus.
  • The paper duration will be of 3 hours.

Standard XI and XII Chemistry

Question Paper Pattern from  Written Examination

General Instructions:

  • All the questions are compulsory
  • Section A contains Q. No. 1 to 4 of multiple choice type of questions carrying one mark each. Qno. 5 to QnO. 8 are very short answer type of questions carrying one mark each.
  • Section B contains Q. No. 9 to 15 of short answer type questions carrying two marks each Internal choice is provided to only one question.
  • Section C contains QNo.16 to 26 of short answer type of questions carrying three marks each. An internal choice is provided to only one question.
  • Section D contains Q. No. 27 to 29 of long answer type of questions carrying five marks each. An internal choice is provided to each question.
  • Use Log Tables if Necessary. Use of calculator is not allowed.

  • Q. No.1 to 8 (Q No. 1 to 4 (MCQ) and Q. N. 5 to 8 (VSA) 1 Mark each

Section B:

  • Q. No. 9 to 15 (Option to any one question from Q. No. 9 to Q. No.15) Short Answers (SA – I) 2 Marks Each

Section C:

  • Q. No. 16 to 25 (Option to any one question from Q. No. 16 to Q. No.26) (SA- II) 3 Marks each

      Please, inform us about your board viz. state/cbse or isc and which competitive exams you are going to appear? We will suggest you books accordingly.

  2. Sir how to solve physics numericals in very easy to handle hsc board

    • Read the problem carefully
      Write the data in their standard symbols and S.I.units
      Write the quantities to be found.
      Select appropriate formula containing given and required terms.
      Simplify to create the formula for the required term.
      Substitute the values and do the calculation.
      We have solved about 60-80 problems per chapter of HSC Physics.

      Or from homepage select articles > science > Physics and then select your chapter. All the problems are as per the steps discussed above.
      For log calculation refer to chapter gravitation, where the calculations for some problems are shown using log tables.

    • You can refer to our online notes. Click chemistry in top menu and select the chapter. We have started adding numericals for some chapters.
