Circular from Maharashtra State Secondary and Higher Secondary Educational Board, Pune – 14

Summary of General Instructions:

  • There is no change in syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Statistics
  • In Physics, Chemistry and Biology, there will be a written exam of 70 Marks and a practical exam of 30 Marks.
  • In Physics, Chemistry and Biology, in written exam, there will be one question paper and one answer paper.
  • In Mathematics and Statistics, there will be a written exam of 80 Marks and a practical exam of 20 Marks.
  • In Mathematics and Statistics, in written exam, there will be one question paper and one answer paper.
  • The final exam in all subject will be on the complete syllabus.
  • The paper duration will be of 3 hours.

Standard XI and XII Mathematics & Statistics

Question Paper Pattern from  Written Examination

General Instructions:

  • All the questions are compulsory
  • Section A contains Q. No. 1 to 6 of multiple choice type of questions carrying one mark each.
  • Section B contains Q. No. 7 to 14 questions carrying two marks each Internal choice is provided to only one question.
  • Section C contains QNo.15 to 20 of questions carrying three marks each. The internal choice is provided to two questions.
  • Section D contains Q. No. 21 to 30 questions carrying four marks each. The internal choice is provided to three questions.
  • Use of Lo Table is allowed
  • Use of Calculator not allowed.

Section A:

  • Q. No.1 to 6 (Q No. 1 to 6 (MCQ)  1 Mark each

Section B:

  • Q. No. 7 to 14 (Option to any one question from Q. No. 7 to Q. No.14) 2 Marks Each

Section C:

  • Q. No. 15 to 20 (Option to any two questions from Q. No. 15 to Q. No.20) 3 Marks each

Section D:

  • Q. No. 21 to Q. No. 30 (Option to any tree questions from Q. No. 21 to Q. No.30) 4 Marks each
